My Comments

  • I think Daniel's point about keeping your personal tech separate from your business tech is spot on. First, a lot of us have a tendency to want the fast, flashy, and fun personal technology and use it in our everyday business lives, but most often there's not a viable business reason for the newest and flashiest tech products. If you choose solid, functional solutions that address specific problems or business needs -- and always add a good data backup plan to your mix -- you'll be able to concentrate on your business, and a successful business will give you the extra cash to get the fun tech gear for personal use.
