My Comments

  • Mirroring Signs - 06/11/2007
Dear Donna & Anita, I think you are right in assuming that for most people mirroring is subconscious. I actually do it myself without thinking but when I am aware I am doing it the spell breaks. I was introduced to the idea about 20 years ago, at a sales training conference. So our sales colleagues are probably more deliberate about it than most of us. And better at it too, of course, because for most of them mirroring would be natural fit with their sales personality. Frank
  • Hi Shara, Interesting insight about how this is common in kin/tribe/village structures. I had never actually thought of it that way even though I have been in many of these countries..... Tribalism is something I think many of us are trying to move away from. BTW, 12 years in China. That's usually a jaw-dropper. Frank
