  • Paul, Good suggestion on breaking this down by state. This is what I found: The Small Business Administration has a site called Tech-Net , which provides a searchable database for SBIR and STTR award information. It looks like you can input various criteria, such as state, agency and keywords, to narrow down the search. SBIRworld.com also lists SBIR contact information by state.
  • Selling Overseas - 11/22/2006
Paypal is certainly an option when it comes to expanding business and payment options overseas. The company has a good reputation as well as a secure site for transactions. But, keep in mind that business account users have to pay fees based on transaction activity. It's worth shopping around and comparing what third-party service providers offer in terms of accepting payments online from domestic and international customers. Thesitewizard.com lists some providers and competing transaction fees.
  • Thanks for the suggestion, Susan. Not only do safety committees increase awareness, they are a good place to brainstorm ideas and develop new solutions. Along those lines, I found this article on Packaging Machinery Technology which highlights the important role safety committees play within an organization.
