Laurie Glasson
Award-winning journalist, freelance writer and entrepreneur Laurie Patton Glasson spent 10 years as a television news reporter working at ABC affiliate KTVO and NBC affiliate KYTV. There she specialized in crime, legal and investigative reporting. After the loss of her father several years ago she started her own business, The Life Story Company. Using her broadcast news roots Laurie videotapes client's interviews and crafts a documentary style video of their life that they can pass down to their children. Laurie also uses her freelance writing skill to put those stories on paper. Laurie is the recipient of the 2003 Edward R. Murrow Award for her story about a family devastated by natural disaster. She is also the recipient of a Missouri Broadcasters Association award for her investigative journalism.
