Mike Carr, CMT, is an independent trader, editor of the Market Technicians Association (MTA) monthly newsletter, Technically Speaking, and associate editor of the organization’s scholarly publication, Journal of Technical Analysis. He serves on the Board of Directors of the MTA Educational Foundation. As a Chartered Market Technician, Mike has demonstrated his knowledge and ability to comprehensively apply technical analysis by successfully completing three exams administered by the MTA and is held to a high code of ethics by that organization. Mike’s work has been published in Futures magazine, Working Money, Traders.com Advantage, Investopedia.com, MoneyNews.com, Traders Mag (Europe), and SFO (Stocks, Futures & Options). Mike completed an undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Wilkes University and earned a Master’s in Management from Webster University. He is also a retired US Air Force Lieutenant Colonel.
