The Green Suppliers Network is a network of currently 39 suppliers, which have identified over $25.6 million in cost savings It is a collaborative venture involving the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the U.S. Department of Commerce's Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP). According to its mission statement its goal is to help suppliers continuously learn ways to save money, optimize resource use, and eliminate waste through on-site technical reviews. The network says the result of its efforts help manufacturers earn higher profits while at the same time impacting the environment a lot less. Please visit the network via the link provided above.
