Alex McKay is founder and president of ARMA Design, headquartered in San Diego, CA. An entrepreneur at heart, he established the electronic product development company in 1990, he says, to “be more independent and have control of my own destiny.”
Before creating ARMA Design, Alex worked for 13 years in engineering and engineering management in the Arcade video game and computer peripheral industries. During those years, he developed an appreciation for excellent engineering design and cost-effective project management. He’s based his company on this approach, differentiating ARMA by designing and developing high quality products while saving his customers time and money.
Alex was born in Montreal Canada and is “presently earning a masters degree in business from the School of Life,” he says. When he’s not putting in his 50-60 hours a week at ARMA, Alex spends his play time as a competitive stockcar driver.
