My Comments

  • Hahaha, what's funny, guys, was when i wrote that guide i was thinking about all of these moments in my own life. I have a 1 and 3 year old that distract me at just the "wrong" moments. I realized, though, that almost every other business person i work with has the same situation on their end and the child stories actually created better conversation! on a side note... "on demand", i swear, is the overarching tagline for this generation. I'm not talking about TV either. every aspect of work, family and play is on demand. We have no excuses in today's world to not better manage time, handle issues as they come up etc. etc. everything is so accessible. As my three year old says, "daddy, just go use your 'puter to do it".
  • Mike, awesome. How does someone who doesn't have many years of experience get into this and be affective without blowing tons of cash? also, where can you find local experts at this?
  • I'd only add to this, Donna and Wandy, that it's not the consequences of hiring the wrong person that are damaging, it's the consequences of not doing something about ineffective people that hurts so bad. Awesome stuff. Great people are hard to find... at least in traditional ways. The network matters, always.
  • Great jumping off point for what is usually a roadblock for start ups. Also good to hear from a seasoned entreprenuer. Thanks!
