CNN went to WordPress a long time ago, and I've set up a couple of WP blogs since I first wrote this. It has earned its place as my favorite platform, but it did take some getting used to.

Hi Shara, Business blogs that I follow: My favorite so far is GM's blog, Fastlane. (http://fastlane.gmblogs.com/) I really appreciate the way they do it because of how clearly they reach through to the reader. No fluff, no wasted time. Fastlane definitely doesn't get enough attention from the public. I'd prefer it if they would push the attitude of the Fastlane blog out through all the company's communications, rather than the standard "fast driving through the desert" imagery and other cliches. Another is the one Bob Parsons does as the CEO of GoDaddy.com. (www.bobparsons.com) Sometimes I hate it for focusing too much on the models they use in the commercials, but you have to admit Parsons is one of the most interesting personalities in business. Parsons gives the reader the feeling that he is proud of his business, wants to help them with their own, and would fight to the death before he let his lose the soul he has given it. Bob does go a while sometimes between posts, but what he puts up there can be worth the wait. Scot
