I write a blog for event planners with a lot of tips and ideas of how to effectively plan events. That can be found at http://winnevents.wordpress.com/ If you are planning an event and need a little extra help, Winn Events offers a service called MyEventAudit.com. We take event planners through an event audit looking at three key areas: event development, pre-event logistics, and onsite management. It is a way for you to bounce your questions off of one of our experienced planners and we will work with you to make sure your event is a success. It is not a full event planning service (although Winn Events' offers that), but you get 20+ years of event planning expertise checking your processes and looking for anything that may have been overlooked. We want your event to be a success. Check it out at http://www.myeventaudit.com. If you are not a member of LinkedIn, I recommend setting up a free profile. You can join groups of event planners. There are discussions going on all the time that may be of benefit to you. Also you can start discussions and get feedback from planners all over the world. It is a great tool. I also recommend the following websites. Several of these are magazines but they have great resources and articles on their website as well: http://www.conventionplanit.com/ http://www.meetingsfocus.com/ http://www.meetings-conventions.com/ http://specialevents.com/ http://www.event-solutions.com/ http://www.exhibitoronline.com/
